How Sports Betting Works

From opening an account to understanding how pools pay out, here is everything in the order you will need it.

Twelve steps

Steps 1 to 3 happen once. The rest are how you use the platform day to day.

  1. Step 1: Create an Account

Select Register and enter your first and last name, email address, date of birth, province or territory, phone number and a password of at least ten characters with letters and numbers. Confirm that you meet the minimum age and accept the Terms and Conditions. Marketing emails are optional and off unless you tick the box. You are signed in as soon as the account is created.

    Create an account
  2. Step 2: Verify Your Identity

Open Account > Verification and upload a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three months. A member of our team reviews the documents by hand. Your account shows whether verification is not started, under review, verified or needs new documents.

  3. Step 3: Confirm Eligibility

Verification confirms your age against the province or territory you selected. The minimum is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, and 19 elsewhere. Ontario is not accepted.

  4. Step 4: Choose a Payment Method

The cashier can label a ledger entry as Interac, bank transfer, Bitcoin, Payz, i-Wallet or STICPAY. Amounts it will accept start at C$10 for a deposit and C$20 for a withdrawal, unless the method lists a higher amount. The label is stored with your on-site CAD balance. It is not a live session with that provider.

  5. Step 5: Explore Sports

Open the sportsbook for football, basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer and tennis. Schedules for the NFL, NCAA football, NBA, MLB, NHL, Premier League, MLS, UFC, ATP and WTA tennis and the PGA Tour update automatically, with start times in Eastern Time and decimal Match Winner prices on both competitors.

    Open the sportsbook
  6. Step 6: Understand the Coupon

The pool page shows a real coupon with both competitors, decimal Match Winner prices and a stake field, beside the shared-pool rules. The stake slip debits your CAD balance and stores the bet at the price on the slip.

  7. Step 7: Explore Live Sports

Live events show competitor names and decimal prices, not only a status label. An open Match Winner market can be staked while the event is on the board.

  8. Step 8: Discover Online Casino

The casino is organized into slots, live casino, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, table games and instant win games. Each category explains the rules, the house edge and what return to player means.

  9. Step 9: Explore Virtual Sports

Virtual football, tennis, golf, horse racing, greyhound racing and motor sports are categories on this website. A round is an even-money stake settled here, with a house edge of 8%. A win returns twice the stake.

  10. Step 10: Set Personal Limits

In Account > Limits set daily, weekly or monthly deposit and loss limits, a session time limit and reality check reminders. A deposit limit may be zero. Lower limits apply at once. Other increases wait 24 hours. Raising or removing a zero deposit limit waits 6 months.

  11. Step 11: Manage Your Account

Update your phone number, province and marketing preference, change your password, review your sign-in activity, take a cooling-off break, self-exclude or close the account, all from your account page.

  12. Step 12: Request a Withdrawal

From a verified account, request a withdrawal to a payment method in your own name, normally the one you used to deposit. The expected processing time for the chosen method is shown before you confirm.

Account Verification

Verification is required before any deposit, bet or withdrawal. We confirm your name, date of birth and address against the documents you provide, and we may ask for further documents if something does not match or to confirm the source of funds. Documents must be clear, in colour, show all four corners and be valid on the day they are sent. Altered or third-party documents lead to account suspension.

Deposit Requirements

  • Your account must be verified.
  • The payment method must be registered in your own name.
  • Deposits are made in Canadian dollars.
  • A deposit is refused if it would take you over a deposit limit you have set.
  • Minimum and maximum amounts for each method are published on the Payment Methods page and shown in your account before you confirm.

Withdrawal Procedures

  1. Open your account and choose Withdraw.
  2. Select a payment method in your name. Where possible, funds are returned to the method used to deposit.
  3. Enter the amount in CAD and confirm.
  4. We review the request; the first withdrawal may require additional verification.
  5. The payment is sent and the transaction appears in your account history.

Betting Rules

  • A bet is accepted only when it appears in your bet history.
  • Event details come from a third-party data feed. If they are clearly wrong, the official league result prevails.
  • Markets are settled on the official result, including overtime or extra innings where they form part of it, unless the market says otherwise.
  • Events cancelled, abandoned or postponed by more than 24 hours are void and stakes are refunded.
  • Betting on behalf of another person, collusion and the use of automated tools are prohibited.

Pool Betting Rules

  • Match Winner prices are decimal and are stored with the stake.
  • The stake slip debits your CAD balance.
  • If the feed has no price, the displayed decimal is derived from the event id.
  • A settled winning stake returns the stake multiplied by the stored price.
  • If an event is void, the stake is refunded.
  • The pool betting page keeps the shared-pool rules beside the coupon.

Responsible Gambling

Decide on a budget before you play and keep to it. Use deposit, loss and session limits, turn on reality checks and take a cooling-off break if you feel the urge to chase losses. An operator self-exclusion of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years or 5 years locks this account and cannot be shortened. It is not Comprehensive Self-Exclusion with the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission. Start the operator lock in your account or by emailing support@lberta4.joppabobra.site. Help is listed on the responsible gambling page, including 988.

Account Restrictions

We may restrict or suspend an account if verification is incomplete, if information provided is false, if we detect fraud, multiple accounts or collusion, if a customer appears to be at risk of harm, or if access is attempted from a jurisdiction we do not serve. Customers in a cooling-off or self-exclusion period cannot sign in until the period ends. We will tell you the reason for a restriction unless the law prevents us from doing so.
